Whitewater Rafting on the Dolores River! |
Experience
the rafting trip of a lifetime on one of Colorado's Classic Multi-Day
River Adventures. The Dolores River, or "River of Sorrow", flows
for more than 200 miles through southwestern Colorado, starting high in
the San Juan Mountains and descending to its confluence with the Colorado
River near the Utah-Colorado border. The Dolores River flows through five
major western life zones. Starting out in the ponderosa pine trees of
the alpine life zone you meander your way down this exceptionally beautiful
river eventually rafting between steep towering walls of sandstone much
like you see in Moab, Utah. For over 25 years A Wanderlust Adventure has
provided memorable 3-6 day trips on the Dolores River. We offer two different
length trips depending on the amount of time you have.
