Looking for a great way to experience a real Colorado outdoor adventure with your group! Try rafting with A Wanderlust Adventure on the Cache la Poudre River! The Cache la Poudre is Colorado’s only national “Wild & Scenic” river. Because of this, the Poudre is less crowded than other rivers in Colorado and the scenery is amazing. Whether you are a church group, sports team, kids camp, corporate group, family reunion, boy scout group, bachelor or bachelorette party or just a group of friends, we are excited to help you plan a memorable and adventurous whitewater experience. We offer the closest rafting to Fort Collins, Estes Park, Boulder, Cheyenne, Denver and the Northern Front Range of Colorado. A large portion of our business consists of repeat groups that have enjoyed rafting with our company for many years. Cheley Colorado Camps Inc. have been bringing 500-1000 kids rafting with us every summer since 1992.

Planning a whitewater rafting trip for a large group is a lot of responsibility and our goal is to make this as easy as possible for you. Our professional office staff are pleased to help you with every part of planning your reservation for a large group. We do offer group rates depending on the time of the season. Please let our staff know when you want to raft in order to see if we can offer you a special price.

Planning a trip for a large group and you don’t want to pay for everyone. No worries. Our group booking mode in our reservation system makes it easy for you to reserve for a large group. You just have to pay for your portion of the trip, and you can email everyone else a group booking link where they can pay on their own. We can hold your spots all under one reservation for a specific amount of time while everyone else pays for themselves. Please ask our office staff if you want to set up a trip this way. We also offer online waiver forms that are easy to fill out and all taken care of before you arrive. No need to worry about losing your paper waivers or forgetting to bring them. We can also email you a paper copy of our risk form if that is easier for you.

After the trip your group is going to be hungry. Our onsite restaurant, Vern’s Place, is ready to dish up your group a homestyle meal for breakfast, lunch or dinner. They also have beer on tap from local breweries and spirits for groups interested in this. Please ask our office staff about setting up a meal with our restaurant. We can also set up a boxed meal for you if you are in a hurry or just want to enjoy a quick bite to eat at our picnic tables.

We have two different half day Poudre River whitewater rafting trips to choose from. Our beginner to intermediate level Taste of Whitewater Trip is great for groups with first time rafters and kids under the age of 14. The Taste of Whitewater consists of many Class II and III level rapids and still has plenty of continuous action! Our intermediate to advanced level Blast of Whitewater Trip is great for groups with participants who are active and looking for a more adventurous trip. The minimum age for the Blast is 14 years old. We take first time rafters on the Blast every day but like to have individuals who are able to paddle hard and want a more action-packed trip.

Groups love to see themselves rafting! We offer fantastic photo and video packages with group rates. We try to take about 25-30 photos and 2 HD videos of each raft. We upload the photo packages to Dropbox and email you links to each raft after your trip. All you have to do is forward the email with the photo links to your party members and everyone has easy access to them. Our 2000 square foot store has changing rooms, restrooms and an open floor plan designed to accommodate large groups. We also have an oversized parking area for charter buses, RVs, vans and trailers.

A Wanderlust Adventure specializes in taking large groups of people and we have been doing it for years. We hand pick our guides for their fun attitudes and professional whitewater experience.
